Ashwini, Rohini, Mrigashira, Pushya, Hasta, Chitra, Anuradha and Revati.
Nakshatras to avoid
Bharani, Ashlesha, Jyeshtha and Moola are avoided for vehicle purchase.
Weekday rule
Saturday is generally avoided; Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are considered most favourable.
Other things to note
- Avoid Rikta tithis (Chaturthi/Navami/Chaturdashi) and Amavasya for a new purchase.

Saturday is Shani’s day, and starts associated with Shani are traditionally read as slow or hindered. This is not an absolute, Saturday with a favourable nakshatra can still be acceptable, so use the score, not just the weekday name.
Is picking an auspicious day alone enough?
